Software Engineer:
Requires 5+ years experience in C++ and VB on Windows development platform and willingness to work for an established company in Clearwater, FL.

We are a leader in building and supporting Stock Exchange Systems for the Financial Services Industry. We specialize in building high performance, fault tolerant systems. We
are looking for Software Engineers to join our R&D team to be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining C++ MFC/STL and VB.NET applications.
What we're looking for:
Candidate should be an expert level software developer in C++ and VB on Microsoft environments. Experience with development software for stock trading systems is a plus.
As a member of the R&D team, the Software Engineer will interface with trading system operations team, business management, project managers, QA and other software developers. Software engineers will also take the initiative for developing and maintaining positive and open lines of communications with all associates within the company.
The candidate will be expected to work hands-on developing software, tests and documentation with a team of engineers. Execution of duties in compliance with the company’s development and QA standards is required.
What you need for this position:
• 5+ Years C++ and VB on Windows development platform
• Expert in MFC/STL, Visual C++, Multithreaded programming
• Expert in programming in .NET environment
• Expert in developing SQL statements and stored procedures
• Proficiency in relational database design and implementation
• Proficiency in building installation kits for software deployment
• Proficiency with MSMQ & Programming Sockets
• Proficiency with XML is a plus
• Experience developing with C#, ASP.Net is a plus
• Experience in building and deploying services
• Experience with rapid prototyping
• Familiar with design patterns
• Capable of designing and building Clustered/High Availability Software Implementations
• Experience with FIX protocol and / or FIX engines is a plus
• Business Analysis and Software development using a UML based SDLC is a plus
• Experience with stock trading systems is a strong plus
The successful candidate must possess a BSCS or equivalent & excellent communication, listening and presentation skills with ability and interest in collaborating actively with others in cross-functional teams. Must be detail-oriented & be able to multi-task. Strong analytical & problem solving skills are also essential.
